Annual Show 2017 PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 09 April 2017 18:01

Planning is well underway for this year's Annual Show. As last year, there will be in-hand classes for any recognised Heavy Horse breed for Geldings, Mares, 2-Year-Olds, Yearlings and Foals, plus classes for Harness and Ridden, and a display for Agricultural and Commercial Turnout and Ladies Cart. The Society would like to thank Wadworth Brewery for their continued support and sponsorship of the West of England In Hand and Harness Championships (which are the culmination of a series of qualifying shows across the South West).

Show schedules can be downloaded in pdf format here, or in DOC format here.  The closing date for entries is 14th September. Please remember to enclose a copy of your 3rd party liability insurance with your entry form.

The schedule includes a section for heavy horse ridden class showing guidelines, to help those new to this area of showing who would like to give it a try. Hard hats to the current BSI or European standard must be worn by ridden competitors.

Booking forms for trade stands, craft stalls, displays, demonstrations and charities are available for download here.
