I'm excited about this! It has taken some time to set up, but the Society now has a secure online store!

The very first items available through the shop are Wearable Tickets for the 2016 Annual Show. These are t-shirts and hoodies displaying exclusive Heavy Horse artwork that will only be available in 2016, and, up to the date of the show, the price includes admission to the show. That means that if you buy a shirt or hoodie and wear it on the day of the show, you have nothing to pay at the gate.

There are three colours available. Adult and child sizes can be found in black with a grey Shire on a red background, or white with a grey Shire on a blue background. Children's sizes are also available in pink with a rainbow Shire Horse unicorn! I have had one of the white shirts myself for some time now and it has survived quite a few washes without any sign of the design cracking or fading. For those who would prefer another breed, help us make a success of this idea so we try it again next year with a new design.

Some of you will be coming anyway with your horses, and might want a shirt without the added ticket cost. If the Show Secretary Ruth has received your entry for the show then we can e-mail you with a coupon that you enter at checkout, which will subtract the admission price from the checkout figure. Please let us know if you want the coupon for child clothing otherwise we will assume it is for adult sizes (remember that the smallest child size does not include ticket cost anyway, because under-5s get in free).

You can find the new shop at shop.whhs.org.uk. Please, please let me know if you have any problems at all- no amount of testing can really cover every possible eventuality.
